LAWRENCE — Anything she wanted to do, she did with ease. Kansas State star Breanna Lewis owned the court, and the Kansas women had no answer for the dominant junior.
Lewis used her size advantage to fuel the Wildcats to a 59-46 victory over the struggling Jayhawks (5-13, 0-7) Wednesday night in Allen Fieldhouse, extending their overall lead to 67-46 in the Sunflower Showdown.
Lewis recorded her second double-double of the season, netting 23 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to go along with seven blocks. She is the only player in the Big 12 with 250 or more points, 100 or more rebounds and 40 or more blocks on the season.
