K-State wins sloppy game against UT Arlington, 62-49

Normally, forcing 27 turnovers would be a good thing. But K-State coughed up 26 of its own, so head coach Jeff Mittie wasn’t pleased, even though his team won, 62-49, to secure the 900th win in Bramlage Coliseum and push the Wildcats to 9-0 on the year.

Mittie felt his team struggled with the full-court press more so than it did against Auburn.

“We were awful tonight,” Mittie said. “It wasn’t even close. We just seemed unsure of ourselves, where against Auburn, I thought we had a very aggressive attack, a very focused attack. I do not feel like we were very focused tonight.
