Kansas State women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie announced the 2016-17 non-conference schedule on Tuesday.
The Wildcats’ non-conference slate includes seven home games with a visit from four-time defending NCAA champion Connecticut.
“This is the most challenging non-conference schedule in my time at K-State and the best home schedule in a long time with defending champs UConn and Big 12/SEC challenge opponent Auburn both coming to Bramlage,” Mittie said.
K-State opens the 2016-17 season with a pair of exhibition games on Nov. 4 and Nov. 7. The Wildcats will face Washburn first and conclude with a final tune-up against Newman.
