The K-State Wildcats (6-4, 4-3 Big 12) welcome the Kansas Jayhawks (2-9, 1-7 Big 12) to Manhattan for the 114th edition of the Sunflower Showdown and the 106th consecutive year of the in-state rivalry game, one of the longest continuous rivalries in the country. As the last home game of the year, it also marks Senior Day for the Wildcats.
The Jayhawks have been bad this year, much like the last several years, but they have, on occasion, looked like an actual football team. One of those times was last week, when they held everyone on Texas’ offense not named D’Onta Foreman to 153 yards in an overtime victory.
