K-State tennis earns 3rd straight academic honor
K-State tennis earned its third straight All-Academic Team honor from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for the 2015-16 academic year while six players garnered scholar-athlete distinctions, the most among Big 12 schools.
Iva Bago, Sara Castellano, Livia Cirnu and Palma Juhasz were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes for the third time in their careers while freshmen Ana Garcia Navas and Millie Stretton picked up their first honor.
This year marks the third season in a row that five or more Wildcats were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
K-State has been named an ITA All-Academic Team eight times in program history.
