As Kansas State fell behind early in Tuesday’s game at Iowa State, coach Bruce Weber turned toward his bench and urged his players to show some emotion and cheer on their teammates.
A lack of energy and focus was a concern for Weber prior to tipoff with the Wildcats coming off two emotional wins over Oklahoma State and West Virginia.
“I thought our focus at Oklahoma State and against West Virginia was really, really good,” Weber said Thursday on the Big 12 coaches teleconference. “I didn’t quite have that feeling on the day of the game against Iowa State.
