K-State sweeps ISU for 6th straight win

Another match and another win for the Kansas State volleyball team on Wednesday night, as the Wildcats mowed down Iowa State in three games to earn their sixth straight win.

The Wildcats defeated the Cyclones (25-23, 25-20 25-18) at Ahearn Field House to earn their 12th sweep of the season and eighth win in their last nine matches.

“I think we have gotten a lot better, and it’s a wonderful feeling as a coach when you feel like you’re making improvements,” K-State coach Suzie Fritz said. “I think sometimes that’s hard to do late in the season, but this team just keeps getting better each day, and they have grown in their confidence.
