MANHATTAN — Kansas State has reached the halfway point of the Big 12 Conference schedule with a 2-7 record. Six of those losses were to ranked teams, and the Wildcats get the second half of the conference schedule going against No. 1 Oklahoma.
Such is life in the Big 12 for the Wildcats, who are coming off an 18-point loss at No. 7 Kansas with No. 13 Baylor coming up after the top-ranked Sooners (19-2, 7-2 Big 12) play at 5 p.m. Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum.
“The good thing about our league is we have so many opportunities against top teams,” coach Bruce Weber said.
