Like any coach, Bill Snyder doesn’t find much value in discussing how his team will react to a loss in a game that hasn’t been played.
Snyder and his Kansas State football team expect to win against West Virginia on Saturday, finish the regular season with an even record and head to a postseason bowl on a three-game winning streak.
But a win or a loss against the Mountaineers won’t have much to do with whether the Wildcats are eligible to compete in a bowl this year.
The NCAA announced procedures on Monday for filling at least two, but as many as five, vacant bowl spots as the number of needed bowl participants reached a record 80 teams this season.
