The potential strength of the Kansas State football team's defense was reflected in the preseason All-Big 12 Team with four Wildcat defenders selected in voting by the conference media.
Senior safety Dante Barnett, senior defensive end Jordan Willis, junior defensive tackle Will Geary and junior linebacker Elijah Lee were on the list announced Wednesday, along with sophomore fullback Winston Dimel from the offensive side for the Wildcats.
Geary, a Topeka High product, was a first-team All-Big 12 selection last year by The Associated Press while Dimel was first team on the coaches team.
Kansas didn't have any players named to the preseason All-Big 12 team.
