Tylor Perry saved his biggest moments for the extra period, and Cam Carter and Arthur Kaluma each had big nights to propel the Kansas State Wildcats (5-2, 4-0 Home) to an 88-78 overtime victory against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (2-4) Tuesday night in Bramlage Coliseum.
In both the first and second half, K-State built seemingly comfortable leads, only to allow ORU to pull back in front. A jumper by freshman Macaleab Rich put the Wildcats ahead 28-17 with just under nine minutes to play in the first period, but K-State missed a layup and committed turnovers on three straight possessions to allow the Golden Eagles a 10-0 run in less than two minutes to get back within one.
