In life, nothing is automatic.
Kansas State has made it seem like scoring in the red zone is nearly automatic this season, however, going 16 for 16 inside their opponents’ 20-yard-line.
The Wildcats are tied with 13 other teams for the nation’s lead in red zone offense, scoring 14 touchdowns and making a pair of field goals.
Going back to last season, K-State scored on all 41 attempts in the red zone in its last 10 games. The Wildcats were 52 of 55 in the red zone last year, which also ranked first in NCAA.
K-State hopes to continue its success in the red zone this week at West Virginia.
