Bill Snyder didn’t say if he watched film of quarterback Jarrett Stidham at Stephenville (Texas) High School during the recruiting process, but the Kansas State coach has taken a look over the past week.
Stidham, a true freshman at Baylor, makes his first collegiate start in place of injured Seth Russell when the No. 2 Bears play K-State at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Snyder Family Stadium.
Stidham has played in all seven Baylor games in mop-up duty but now takes full control of the offense after Russell went down with a neck injury against Iowa State that required season-ending surgery.
