MANHATTAN — There weren’t any surprises or shakeups when Kansas State released the depth chart for its opening football game Tuesday, but there are a couple of on-going competition for positions.
The most notable position still in question is fullback with returning starter Glenn Gronkowksi or redshirt freshman Winston Dimel listed as the starter.
“Winston has played, performed and prepared extremely well,” coach Bill Snyder said of the son of Wildcats co-offensive coordinator Dana Dimel. “He has a lot more athletic ability than his father. Dana and I were both blessed to have children that far exceeded what we could do (Sean Snyder was an All-America punter for K-State).
