The Kansas State Wildcats (5-2) returned home from a dismal showing in Fort Myers to “take care of business” against the Florida A&M Rattlers, 76-58.
Quotation marks are necessary to describe this game as “taking care of business”; though the outcome was very much definitive, K-State looked to be sleepwalking through significant portions of the game.
While FAMU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, they never so much as sniffed the lead again, as K-State took command on the next possession with a Xavier Sneed three, and (slower than should have happened) pulled away to a 39-25 lead at halftime.
