The Kansas State volleyball team forced No. 4 Texas to a fiveset match on Saturday, ultimately losing 22-25, 27-25, 17-25, 25-18, 12-15 in Ahearn Field House.
The Wildcats went toe-to-toe with one of the top-ranked squads in the country, coming back from 1-0 and 2-1 match deficits to give themselves the chance at the upset in the fifth set.
K-State finished the match with a .250 hitting percentage, while most stats between the two teams were dead even.
Kylee Zumach led the K-State offense with 18 kills and just missed a double double with nine digs.
