Riding a three-match winning streak, the Kansas State volleyball team welcomes Texas Tech to Manhattan looking for a series sweep.
Earlier this season, K-State swept the Red Raiders in Lubbock, Texas, led by its defense holding Texas Tech to .178 hitting, while registering 49 kills in the match.
That loss to K-State was just one of many for the Red Raiders this season. Texas Tech enters Saturday’s 7 p.m. match having lost eight of nine matches.
Wildcat head coach Suzie Fritz says opponents tend to be easier to prep for the second time around.
“Strangely, we put a little bit of time into opponents and especially as you go through the league in the second half, you have more information now,” Fritz said.
