MANHATTAN — As the Kansas State football players watch tape of Iowa State, they see a familiar pattern.
“They are similar to us in their playing style and in their situation they’re going through right now,” K-State quarterback Joe Hubener said. “They’ve had a fairly rough season as well and they’re fighting for pride.”
The Wildcats (3-6, 0-6 Big 12) are limping along with a six-game losing streak while the Cyclones (3-7, 2-5) have lost five of six games entering the 11 a.m. kickoff Saturday at Snyder Family Stadium.
“Iowa State has always played us tough, and it’s always a great game,” K-State linebacker Will Davis said.
