MANHATTAN — A healthy Jesse Ertz unleashed the power and accuracy of his passing arm and spread the wealth among a deep receiving corps.
Ertz, the Kansas State senior quarterback coming back from offseason shoulder surgery, completed 10 of 16 passes in the No. 20 Wildcats’ 55-19 victory over Central Arkansas on Saturday. Four of his completions resulted in touchdowns to four different receivers with three long balls of 55, 69 and 70 yards.
“We knew we had the talent,” Ertz said after his career-best 333-yard and school record 319.8 rating night. “We’ve been talking about that for a while.
