MANHATTAN — Kansas State unleashed a rushing attack last week against Baylor that was expected long ago.
The Wildcats ran for a season-high 258 yards, led by quarterback Joe Hubener’s 29 carries for 153 yards.
“It was fun,” said K-State center Dalton Risner. “The offensive line did a good job establishing the run early, and that’s what we wanted to do against a team like Baylor that can put up points.
“We could have done a better job and won the game, but it was fun as an offensive line to go against a really good Baylor defensive line with Andrew Billings and Beau Blackshear and get the run game going.
