Byron Pringle went undrafted Saturday, but the day ended with good news for the former Kansas State receiver when he signed a free-agent deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source.
Pringle highlighted a group of former K-State players that found NFL homes after the draft came to an end.
Matthew McCrane, the most accurate kicker in Wildcats history, signed a free-agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
Both Pringle and McCrane were considered potential late-round selections but ended up going the undrafted route.
