K-State football seeks improvement during bye week

MANHATTAN — Kansas State coach Bill Snyder admits he has impossible standards with constant room for improvement, but “the foundation for improvement is there” as his football team works through a bye week.

“They know I always expect more,” Snyder said Tuesday at his weekly media session. “Granted, you can run into some difficulty with that because it’s ‘the man will never be satisfied.’ But I tell the players, why would you go out and spend all that time and work so hard to stay the same? That doesn’t make any sense to me, so I think you would want to improve yourself.
