K-State football looks for positives from Texas loss

MANHATTAN — With some time to reflect, Kansas State is disappointed with its performance at Texas but did find a few glimmers of hope despite a fourth consecutive loss.

“Immediately after the game you reflect on what you could have done better,” K-State safety Sean Newlan said Tuesday, “but once get the opportunity to look at the game film, it’s never really as bad as you thought and it’s never as good as you thought. There are a lot of things you can take away as positives from that game but there are a lot of things you wish you could take back.
