MANHATTAN — Jesse Ertz is Kansas State’s starting quarterback, but Joe Hubener and Alex Delton get some snaps in situational roles. The Wildcats used four running backs last week against Florida Atlantic with no featured back yet to emerge.
The use of multiple players at those positions has caused some concern and debate, but depth at the wide receiver position has only been viewed as a positive for K-State.
The Wildcats — whose game against Missouri State on Saturday night at Snyder Stadium was delayed due to lightning and rain — had six wide receivers catch a pass in their first two games, along with receptions from running backs and tight end.
