On Monday afternoon it was announced that freshman forward Dean Wade was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
In the first true road game of his career versus Georgia, Wade played hero, scoring a team-high 17 points including a game winning jumper with 4.3 seconds on the clock giving the Wildcats a 68-66 win over the Bulldogs.
