Each time he speaks about turning a moribund Kansas State football program into a consistent winner, coach Bill Snyder shares the credit.
There were many people instrumental in the process, but the foundation built upon those involved required an architect to conceive the plan. It was Snyder’s blueprint that constructed the “Miracle in Manhattan” and brought him to New York City on Tuesday for induction in the College Football Hall of Fame.
“It’s all about the people that surround you, whether they be coaches, players, administrators, the fan base — just the people who genuinely cared and made a difference in Kansas State University’s football program,” Snyder said at the hall of fame press conference.
