Kansas State lost another basketball player Friday when coach Bruce Weber announced freshman Malek Harris has been dismissed from the team.
"We have high standards for the players in our program," Weber said in a statement released by the university. "Unfortunately, Malek could not live up to those expectations. We wish him the best as he continues his basketball career."
That was essentially the same statement Weber issued March 24 when he dismissed sophomore guard Marcus Foster and freshman guard Tre Harris from the team. Weber also announced in that March 24 statement that sophomore guard Jevon Thomas would transfer and last week sophomore guard Nigel Johnson announced he will transfer, but K-State has not commented on Johnson's status.
