The Kansas State basketball team will bring back its vintage lavendar jerseys for a game this season.
K-State announced Friday it will wear the throwback look during a game against TCU on Jan. 20 at Bramlage Coliseum. The Wildcats flashed a preview of players wearing the jerseys in the second half of an 83-45 victory over American.
The full uniform will include dark purple shorts, lavendar tops and lavendar shoes.
K-State fans seemed to respond well to the announcement on social media, and the announcement was met with applause from fans when it was shown on the video board at Bramlage Coliseum.
