MANHATTAN — The public perception may be that the world is crashing in on Kansas State basketball coach Bruce Weber.
Since the end of K-State’s 15-17 basketball season, Weber dismissed three players from the team and lost two more to transfer. But Weber, who met with the media Wednesday for the first time since the final game six weeks ago, remains upbeat about the potential of the program with the returning players and incoming recruits.
“Obviously, we didn’t meet our expectations, our goals that we had for the season,” Weber said. “We felt we had to make some changes.
