Kansas State got back to the Big 12 tournament last season, and now the Wildcats will look to build on that this year.
The Wildcats were 27-30 last year, just a season removed from finishing in last place and missing the Big 12 tournament to end a streak of seven straight appearances. Two years ago K-State won the Big 12 regular season title and advanced to a Super Regional.
But while the Wildcats made some improvements last season, many of the pieces that helped it get there are gone.
