Kansas State head women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie announced the signing of two players to National Letters of Intent Wednesday during the Fall National Signing period.
The two new additions to the K-State roster for the 2016-17 season are guard Mercedes Brooks and center Peyton Williams.
“Continuing to add quality people and increase our athletic ability with good size and scoring ability has been our continued goal,” Mittie said. “Both Mercedes and Peyton possess these qualities and we still have the flexibility to add to this class.”
Brooks — a native of Wichita Falls, Texas — joins the Wildcats as the 46th-ranked guard in the nation by ESPN Hoopgurlz and the 23rd best prospect in the state of Texas by Premier.
