MANHATTAN — The Kansas State athletic department announced Wednesday it is moving forward with the next phase of construction at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Phase IIIB of the master plan will involve the northeast corner of the Wildcats' football stadium and complete the stadium bowl, along with spectator and operational enhancements, athletics director John Currie announced.
K-State had the grand opening of the $68 million Vanier Family Football Complex last week, and the next phase of the stadium improvements has a $15 million price tag. The project will be completely financed through private donations, with $9 million already pledged.
