Kansas State became one deeper around the basket Thursday morning.
The Wildcats announced they signed Patrick Muldoon, 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward from Basehor, as a walk-on. Muldoon, previously a forward at Eastern Illinois, will have two years of eligibility. Per NCAA regulations, he must sit out the 2017-18 season and will begin playing in 2018-19.
He is immediately eligible to begin practicing with the team.
“We are excited to have Patrick join our program,” K-State coach Bruce Weber said. “We have been fortunate over the years to have some really quality walk-ons, players like Brian Rohleder, Austin Budke and Zach Winter, and Patrick certainly brings those qualities to our team.
