MANHATTAN — Justin Edwards hears the clock ticking in his head.
As the Kansas State senior’s college basketball career rapidly winds down, a sense of urgency has filled his mind.
“I’m just playing hard and getting back to (being) myself,” Edwards said. “Coach (Bruce Weber) keeps reminding me that the season is going by really fast so these last games I have to give it my all and do what I can.”
Edwards has been solid throughout the season, but recently he needed a wake-up call. In a loss at Kansas on Feb. 3, Edwards scored only two points on 1-of-9 shooting.
