Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder meant it when he said the Wildcats expected to sign additional junior college transfers after signing day came and went in early February.
Jayd Kirby, a linebacker from Navarro (Texas) Junior College, who was previously committed to Kansas, flipped to K-State following a recruiting visit over the weekend. He announced the decision on social media, posing for a picture with his signed letter of intent.
He is the third junior college player to join the Wildcats in recent months. The other two, both from California community colleges, are defensive tackle Craig Settles and dual-threat quarterback Jonathan Banks.
