From Friday: Rigler tosses complete game in 9-3 win
Parker Rigler threw his first career complete game, allowing just one hit after the fourth inning, to lead K-State to its fourth straight win with a 9-3 victory over Oklahoma on Friday at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
The Edmond, Oklahoma, native allowed a run to the Sooners in each of the first three frames, but he settled in to retire 18 of the last 20 batters he faced in the longest outing of his K-State career. Rigler also struck out four and walked one to pick up his fourth win of the season for the Wildcats.
