The Kansas State Wildcats (8-4, 5-4 Big 12) face the 23nd-ranked Navy Midshipmen (10-2, 7-1 American) in the 61st Annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl. It’s the first bowl game for new head coach Chris Klieman, and K-State’s return to the postseason after missing out for the first time in nearly a decade last year. K-State is playing in its 22nd bowl game, while for Navy it’s number 24; it’s the second appearance in the Liberty Bowl for both schools.
K-State is after their second-straight win over a ranked opponent, having ended the regular season with a 27-17 win over then-#22 Iowa State.
