Same stuff, different day.
In the 100th iteration of Farmageddon, Kansas State came out on top 31-26. This is the Wildcats’ ninth consecutive win in the series. As with most recent games against Iowa State, Kansas State dominated for much of the game, but miscues on both offense and defense made the game much closer than it should have been down the stretch.
However, as Jon Morse notes in What We Learned, Kansas State ran the ball well, and the defense got the stops when needed. You really can’t ask for a whole lot more, especially in view of a win in a tough road venue where the Wildcats have struggled of late.
