Kansas State is leading Texas-San Antonio 7-3 after one half of football at the Alamodome.

The Wildcats scored their only points early in the second quarter on a quarterback sneak from Joe Hubener.

The Roadrunners scored on a 51-yard field goal on the opening drive of the game.

Neither offense has shined thus far. Hubener has completed 4 of 12 passes for 100 yards and rushed for 56 yards, but the Wildcats have not been able to consistently overcome poor field position.

The Roadrunners have amassed 157 yards, but they have been hurt by penalties, committing seven of them for 40 yards.
