On a night where K-State had five players in double figures, it was a senior and freshman that lead the way in K-State’s 81-71 win over Columbia on Monday in the first game of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic.
Senior guard Justin Edwards and freshman forward Dean Wade sat atop K-State scorers, putting up 19 and 17 respectively.
Junior forward Wesley Iwundu (17 points), senior forward Stephen Hurt (10 points) and freshman guard Kamau Stokes (11 points) all scored in double digits while Columbia had four players in double digits led by junior forward Luke Petrasek.
