For the second straight year, former Kansas State golfer Robert Streb will participate in the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., beginning with practice rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
Streb, who qualified for this year’s event by reaching the previous year’s season-ending Tour Championship, will look to better his performance from the 2015 edition of the Masters when he missed the cut after carding rounds of 8-over 80 and 4-over 76.
A K-State letterwinner from 2006-09, Streb finished the 2015 season ranked 18th in the FedExCup, thanks to nine top-10 finishes, including a victory in The McGladrey Classic and a second-place finish in The Greenbrier Classic.
