Former Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill has accepted an administrative position within Kansas State’s athletic department, according to a source.
The source said Kill will join the Wildcats as an associate athletic director, a job that will allow him to work with both athletic director John Currie and football coach Bill Snyder. He will work directly with the football team in many ways, but he will not coach. Kill will replace current associate athletic director Clint Dowdle, who informed Currie months ago he planned to leave K-State and accept another job.
Kill retired from Minnesota as football coach in October due to health reasons.
