Former Kansas State quarterback Daniel Sams was arrested Saturday in connection to an armed robbery in which a man was killed in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The American Press, a local newspaper in Lousiana, reports Sams, who played at K-State from 2011 to 2014, was charged with accessory after the fact to armed robbery, accessory after the fact to home invasion, accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree murder and accessory after the fact to second-degree murder. His bond was set at $200,000.
The arrest is in connection to a home invasion on Aug. 12 in Lake Charles, where former McNeese State defensive back Aaron Sam was fatally shot.
