Former Kansas State players Michael Bishop and Martin Gramatica are on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame.
Bishop, the 1998 Heisman Trophy runner-up, was a consensus All-American that season and winner of the Davey O’Brien Award in leading K-State to the Big 12 North Division championship. This is the second year on the ballot for Bishop, who set 14 conference and 34 school records during his two-year career with the Wildcats.
Gramatica is a first-time nominee. He won the 1997 Lou Groza Award as the nation’s best place-kicker and was a two-time All-American, a consensus pick in 1997.
