Kansas State volleyball player Macy Flowers was named Big 12 Co-Rookie of the Week on Monday after being the only freshman to rank among the conference’s top 10 in both hitting percentage and kills per set last week.
Flowers shared the weekly honor with TCU’s Ashleigh Martin, who hit better than .300 in both of the Horned Frogs’ matches.
A Chanute High School product, Flowers had 21 kills (3.0/set) on a .347 attack percentage last week to help K-State win both of its matches.
