ESPN has picked Kansas State’s pregame playing of “Wabash Cannonball” as one of the best in college football and tops in the Big 12.
In a college football roundup on Wednesday, ESPN writers commented on the best football pregame traditions in each Power 5 conference. ESPN’s Brandon Chatmon had K-State’s traditional playing of “Wabash Canonball” and the coordinated dance that goes with it as the best in the Big 12.
“If you haven’t been in Bill Snyder Family Stadium when “The Pride of Wildcat Land Band” is playing “Wabash Cannonball” in front of the Kansas State student section, you need to put that on your bucket list,” Chatmon wrote.
