As soon as this season started, Carlbe Ervin was playing catch-up.
After undergoing a minor knee procedure when fall practice began, Ervin had to play from behind to get to the same level as the rest of his team.
But now that he’s getting up to speed, K-State coach Bruce Weber is finding more ways to involve the junior college transfer in his offense.
Ervin and the Wildcats (6-1) host Coppin State (2-6) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. inside Bramlage Coliseum. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Kansas City.
“When we played those exhibitions he had two or three days of practice and then we went into the games and he was able to get in game shape,” Weber said.
