Jesse Ertz is likely done for the season.
Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder wouldn’t put a specific time frame on the sophomore’s return, but said he’ll “be out for quite some time.”
Ertz was injured on the first play of the Wildcats’ 34-0 victory over South Dakota this past Saturday. He was helped off the field after the second play and taken to the locker room, appearing to have twisted his right knee — the same knee he injured as a senior in high school.
“We’ll miss him and feel badly about the loss,” Snyder said Monday during the Big 12 coaches teleconference.
