Short and sweet today, because it’s the middle of July.
The big news over the weekend, at least as far as those who Wabash are concerned, was the U.S. Olympic Track and Field trials. Once again, High Jump U represented as Eric Kynard took first, qualifying for his third Olympic Games. The silver medalist in London four years ago wasn’t pleased with his performance, even though he didn’t miss a jump until he tried 7’ 8.5”, which would have tied the trials record. The linked story, by the way, features the temporary return of Austin Meek to the Capital-Journal, as he filed the story on special assignment for his former employer.
