MANHATTAN — At times, Elijah Lee finds his head spinning.
He’s adjusting to a new position on Kansas State’s football team, learning to play outside linebacker after spending his high school career and freshman season with the Wildcats at defensive end.
“Last year I was able to take reps at the two linebacker spots,” Lee said. “I don’t have that much experience. I played d-end in high school and I’m more comfortable putting my hand on the ground, so this is a big transition.
“The adjustment was pretty rocky at the beginning but my teammates have helped me get through it.
